Tuition is established by the State Board of Community Colleges and the North Carolina General Assembly and is subject to change without notice.

Registration Dates

Payment Deadlines*

Summer 2026 – Registered by May 6

Payment is due on May 6, by 5 p.m. at the Cashier's Office or by midnight online via Self-Service.

Registered May 7-20 (Summer 2026 schedule adjustment period)

Payment is due the same day you register, by 5 p.m. at the Cashier’s Office or by midnight online via Self-Service.

Fall 2026 – Registered by July 29

Payment is due on July 29, by 5 p.m. at the Cashier's Office or by midnight online via Self-Service.

Registered July 30 - August 19 (Fall 2026 schedule adjustment period)

Payment is due the same day you register, by 5 p.m. at the Cashier’s Office or by midnight online via Self-Service.

*Fall 2026 tuition bills will be available after July 1.

Tuition Payment Plan

If you enroll in the Tuition Payment Plan for Summer 2026 by May 17, you make two payments: (plus plan fee) on the date of enrollment and half on June 20.

If you enroll for Fall 2026 by July 29, you make three payments: One-third (plus plan fee) on the date of enrollment, one-third on August 20 and one-third on September 20. If you enroll for Fall 2026 between July 30 and August 16, you make two payments: (plus plan fee) on the date of enrollment and half on September 20.

To pay online, log in to Self-Service and click on "Student Finance." If you are enrolled in the payment plan, select "Pay with a payment plan." If not enrolled in the payment plan, select "Pay in full."

Payments also can be made in person or by mail to the Cashier's Office.
