Tuition Information

Tuition is established by the State Board of Community Colleges and the North Carolina General Assembly and is subject to change without notice.

Payment Deadlines*
Registered by May 10 for Summer 2024
Payment is due on May 10, by 5 p.m. at the Cashier's Office or by midnight online via Self-Service.
Registered during Summer 2024 Add Period (May 11-20)
Payment is due the same day you register, by 5 p.m. at the Cashier’s Office or by midnight online via Self-Service.
Registered by August 2 for Fall 2024
Payment is due on August 2, by 5 p.m. at the Cashier's Office or by midnight online via Self-Service.
Registered during Fall 2024 Add Period (August 3-19 for most classes)
Payment is due the same day you register, by 5 p.m. at the Cashier’s Office or by midnight online via Self-Service.

*Fall 2024 tuition bills will be available after July 1.

Tuition Payment Plan

If you enroll in the Tuition Payment Plan for Fall 2024 between July 2 and August 2, you make three payments: 1/3 (plus plan fee) on date of enrollment, 1/3 on August 20 and 1/3 on September 20.

If you enroll in the payment plan for Fall 2024 between August 3 and August 14, you make two payments: 1/2 (plus plan fee) on date of enrollment and 1/2 on September 20.

To pay online, log in to Self-Service and click on "Student Finance." If you are enrolled in the payment plan, select "Pay with a payment plan." If not enrolled in the payment plan, select "Pay in full."

Payments also can be made in person or by mail to the Cashier's Office.
