Steps to admission

If you're ready to join us, let's get started.

Transcripts
In addition to submitting an application, you also need to request that your official transcripts from your high school, high school equivalency program and any previous colleges be sent to Wake Tech.

Institutions and third-party transcript providers may send secure transcripts electronically to [email protected] or by mail to:

Wake Tech Admissions
9101 Fayetteville Road
Raleigh NC 27603-5696

Applicants may upload unofficial or student copies of transcripts they have on hand to expedite the admissions process.

If you completed your secondary education or high school outside the U.S., submit all transcripts and completion certificates with certified translations (if the documents are not in English). If an examination after secondary education was required for completion, please submit the examination certificates from the Examination Council.

Financial aid
You also should apply for financial aid as early as possible, and if you're a member of the military or a veteran, request veterans' educational benefits.

After submitting your application, you'll get instructions from the Admissions Office on how to access the applicant portal. The portal allows you to track your application status, manage documents and receive your application decision.
