Description
This integrated course helps students gain a broader understanding of IT foundations. As the course advances, course participants are expected to become proven problem solvers capable of managing important IT support jobs and understanding technologies such as networking, security, and virtualization. By the end of the course, students should be proficient in identifying and using best practices to troubleshoot and manage mobile devices, virtualization and cloud computing, hardware, operating systems, software, and networking. - CompTIA IT Fundamentals+ FC0-U61:
• Identify and explain the basic IT concepts, terminology, IT infrastructure, software development, and database use
• Demonstrate knowledge to install software, establish basic network connectivity
• Identify or prevent basic security risks
• Understand troubleshooting theory and preventative maintenance of devices
• Prepare to take the CompTIA IT Fundamentals+ exam - CompTIA A+ 220-1101 and 220-1102
• Install, configure, and maintain computer equipment, mobile devices, and software for end users
• Service components based on customer requirements
