Course participants with little to no experience using computers will learn the basics. Instruction will focus on learning concepts and navigating computers, devices, and the Internet. By the end of the course, students will have understood computing hardware and software principles, online fundamentals for communicating, collaborating, and socially engaging, and application essentials for word processing, spreadsheets, and presentations. Participants will also be prepared to take the Microsoft Word certification test MO-100 (Word and Word 2019).

Learn the technology skills for administrative office work – jobs that are in high demand by local employers! This bundled course will show you how to use Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook to perform essential administrative tasks. You’ll learn to create, manage, and edit electronic files as well as how to enhance business collaboration and communication. Upon completion, you will be able to demonstrate work readiness, and you’ll be prepared to take core Microsoft Office Specialist certifications.

With this bundled course, participants will build data literacy and learn how to use business tools, including SQL, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Power BI, Tableau, and project management - for data analysis and visualization. They will learn how to read, write, and communicate data; understand data sources and constructs; and use various analysis methods to inspect, cleanse, and transform data - to discover insights, suggest conclusions, and support business decision-making. Upon completion, participants will be prepared to take the Microsoft Excel core certification exam.
