After you've completed your Wake Tech course, wait for your final grade to post before ordering an official Wake Tech transcript. Send that transcript directly to your home institution to notify them.
It's a good idea to check with your home institution before you enroll in any classes to make sure you know what transfer credit you'll earn.
Check the location information for each course you're considering. If the location says "Online with In-Person Tests," you will need to be on campus to take exams.
If a class is full, please join the waitlist. We are not able to add you to a full class.
Please ask the Foreign Language Department chair at your home institution to send an official letter to Melania Aguirre-Rabon, Foreign Language & Fine Arts Department head at Wake Tech, at [email protected]. This letter should include your name, your placement test score, the date you took the test and the course you're eligible to take at your home institution. Professor Aguirre-Rabon will determine your appropriate foreign language placement at Wake Tech.
Meet with your academic advisor at your home institution to make a plan for what to take at Wake Tech. They can give you information on how Wake Tech credit will transfer to that institution to make sure you're on the right track.
