Dr. Stephen C. Scott, President of Wake Technical Community College, is pleased to announce that Wake Forest resident Hannah Moyles has been named the 2016 Scott Scholar. As a Scott Scholar, Moyles will receive up to $3,500 to cover tuition, fees and books for the year.

U.S. Representative David Price visited Wake Tech Community College today to announce two major federal grant awards – including the largest grant in the college’s 50+-year history.

Spring 2016 Honor Roll

The Wake Tech Board of Trustees has named Tom Looney its new chair. Looney joined the board in 2013 and succeeds Harvey Montague.

Local business leaders Mary-Ann Baldwin, Mike Conlon, Samantha Hatem, and Walt Tippett have joined the board of directors of the Wake Tech Foundation. The new members were selected for their community leadership and commitment to the mission of the college.

One of the most advanced public safety training facilities in the country has a new addition! Wake Tech’s Public Safety Education Campus (PSEC) celebrated the completion of a 35,000-square-foot expansion project today with a ribbon cutting and open house.
