Individuals who want to learn Autodesk Revit MEP
Autodesk Revit MEP is a building information modeling-based (BIM) software used by professionals across many industries. This course – for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) engineers – introduces participants to the program's user interface and focuses on the HVAC, electrical, piping, and plumbing components that make Revit a powerful engineering modeling tool. Participants explore three-dimensional drawing, coordinate system, viewing sheet setup and plotting. Upon completion, students should be able to prepare MEP 2D and 3D drawings and model an illustrated project.
Course Objectives
  1. Recognize key terminology and concepts of Autodesk Revit
  2. Model and edit 2D and 3D plans
  3. Demonstrate basic ability to create 3D Parametric models of MEP systems using Autodesk Revit
