Nearly 800 Wake Tech students received degrees and diplomas today, in preparation for entering the workforce or continuing their studies at a four-year institution. Two ceremonies were held, at 9:00 a.m. and at noon, in the gymnasium on Main Campus.
Exam week can mean stress for students! To help them cope, the college brought four-legged friends to campus libraries. Certified therapy dogs were on hand at various campuses throughout the week.

Military veterans studying at Wake Tech have a new place to mingle and get important information about benefits and resources. The Military and Veterans Resource Center opened today on the Northern Wake Campus. Wake Tech’s student body includes a number of veterans and active duty military.
A very talented student has been named this year’s Wake Tech Idol! Staci Irizarry defeated eight other finalists to win the annual competition tonight, held on the Northern Wake Campus, and take home a $2,500 scholarship from the Wake Tech Foundation.
