Este curso es bilingüe, inglés y español. Los estudiantes aprenderán la teoría y obtendrán la experiencia práctica en todos los servicios ofrecidos en un salón de artes cosméticas: corte, peinado, coloración, trenzado y el lavado de cabello; el cuidado de piel, el control de infección; la sanidad (o higiene); el servicio al cliente; el conocimiento del producto; el manejo del salón. El programa de Cosmetología de Wake Tech ofrece un ambiente profesional que es propicio para el aprendizaje y la aplicación práctica; el objetivo del programa es proporcionar a los estudiantes con una vía rápida para empleo y prepararlos para el examen del “NC State Board of Cosmetic Arts Examination.” Este curso se enseña en español y en inglés.
This course is bilingual, English and Spanish. Students will learn theory and gain hands-on experience in all services offered in a cosmetic arts salon: cutting, styling, coloring, braiding, and shampooing hair; skin care, infection control; sanitation, personal hygiene; customer service; product knowledge; the management of the salon. Wake Tech's Cosmetology program offers a professional environment that is conducive to learning and practical application; The goal of the program is to provide students with a fast track to employment and prepare them for the NC State Board of Cosmetic Arts Examination.
