More than 20 faculty and staff members were recognized for their service and dedication, and eight students received student achievement awards. The Excellence Awards are sponsored annually by the Wake Tech Foundation.
SPONSORED PROGRAMS
Sponsored Programs partners with leaders across the college to raise funds in the form of grants and appropriations from federal, state and local governments and foundations to foster innovation and address unmet needs of the college. The Sponsored Programs team also provides grant management and compliance support to ensure the college achieves maximum impact from sponsored programs in support of student success. Wake Tech was awarded more than $11.24 million in grants and appropriations in 2024-25, with 15 of 23 submitted public and private competitive grant proposals receiving funding and five submittals pending.
