Wake Tech Graduates Offered Guaranteed Admission at Arizona State University

RALEIGH, N.C. (July 16, 2025) – Wake Tech is pleased to announce a new university transfer partnership with Arizona State University (ASU).
Thanks to the MyPath2ASU program, Wake Tech students wishing to pursue a bachelor's degree now have access to hundreds of programs, many offered totally online. Degree graduates with a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher can transfer up to 75 credits.

Through the partnership, students will have access to personalized benefits through the MyPath2ASU transfer planning tool to help them map a pathway to an online or in-person bachelor's degree including:
- Customized course-by-course pathway guidance to ensure Wake Tech coursework aligns with a desired ASU major to minimize loss of credit
- Guaranteed admission into a major of choice if all requirements are satisfied
- Degree-progress tracking to help students stay informed about their academic progress
- Access to ASU's transfer coordinators and pre-enrollment services and invitations to special events at ASU
"For most career fields, upward mobility requires further learning after an associate degree," said Wake Tech President Dr. Scott Ralls. "Our new university transfer partnership with Arizona State University supports Wake Tech's efforts to develop opportunities for students to ladder up to meaningful career opportunities."
All Wake Tech academic programs offer an opportunity to transfer credits to a four-year college or university.
