Wake Tech Community College announces New Board Leadership Team.

The Wake Tech Board of Trustees is pleased to welcome three notable new members. Raleigh chef Cheetie Kumar, former St. Augustine’s University CFO Walter C. Davenport, and biopharma executive Dr. Juan Torres were sworn in today.

Students need access to devices to excel in the “new normal” brought on by the pandemic. Thanks to a generous donation from Lenovo, ten students who are part of Wake Tech’s Fostering Bright Futures program received brand new laptops.

Wake Tech is a step closer to building a new educational and training site in eastern Wake County, which may become the college’s seventh campus.
