Wake Tech's RTP Campus is closed Friday for repairs that require the power to be shut off. New and current students can still connect with Advising, Admissions and other services online.
The Wake County Board of Commissioners has appropriated funds for new projects on several Wake Tech campuses. The FY 2017 Capital Improvement Plan totals $24.4 million dollars for these new projects as well as $1 million for the IT infrastructure required to expand online programs.

John Deere heavy equipment dealers and vendors who work on John Deere equipment from across the Southeast joined students and faculty at a Wake Tech Open House. The annual event, showcasing the college’s John Deere Agriculture Technology program, was a huge success, with more than 250 attending.

Nearly 800 Wake Tech students received degrees and diplomas today, in preparation for entering the workforce or continuing their studies at a four-year institution. Two ceremonies were held, at 9:00 a.m. and at noon, in the gymnasium on Main Campus.
Exam week can mean stress for students! To help them cope, the college brought four-legged friends to campus libraries. Certified therapy dogs were on hand at various campuses throughout the week.
