Sponsored Programs partners with leaders across the college to raise funds in the form of grants and appropriations from federal, state, and local governments as well as foundations to foster innovation and address unmet needs of the college. The Sponsored Programs team also provides grant management and compliance support to ensure the college achieves maximum impact from sponsored programs in support of student success. Wake Tech was awarded more than $16.4 million in grants and appropriations in 2024-25, with 24 of 30 submitted public and private competitive grant proposals receiving funding, and 12 submittals pending.
