A planned maintenance window to perform upgrades to the Colleague system beginning 12 a.m. Monday, October 2, will affect certain IT systems. Details on impacted systems are available.
Don’t have access to a reliable vehicle to get to and from campus and classes? The Care Center can show you how to obtain a free bus pass or get in touch with other students to form a carpool. And if you have a car but just don’t have money for gas this week, we may be able to help with that, too.
All Wake Tech students are eligible for a free regional GoPass, which allows you to ride GoTriangle, GoRaleigh, GoCary or GoDurham buses without paying a fare. You need only show your Wake Tech ID and tap the GoPass on the fare box to ride.
NOTE: GoPasses aren't currently needed, as all buses serving Wake Tech campuses are fare-free until at least December 31, 2023.
GoRaleigh buses serve the Southern Wake, Scott Northern Wake, Perry Health Sciences and Public Safety Education campuses, as well as the Beltline Education Center. GoTriangle buses serve the Southern Wake, Scott Northern Wake and RTP campuses.
If you prefer a carpool, students can be matched with other riders based on location, schedule and preferences. Carpools even get preferred parking spots on Scott Northern Wake, Western Wake and Perry Health Sciences campuses.
Wake Tech’s Green Trek program has details on bus and carpool options for commuting to campus.
The CARE Center also can provide free gas cards to students with their own transportation who can’t afford to fill the tank.
