Description
Motor vehicle dealers in North Carolina are required to complete six hours of continuing education each year in order to renew their license; the intent is to keep dealers up to date on issues that have an impact on their business. This course provides a brief overview of the NC Motor Vehicle Dealers and Manufacturers Regulations Manual and includes a study of dealer laws, regulations, DMV regulations, federal laws and rules, and proper record-keeping.

  1. ...have a better understanding of the rules and regulations as stated in Article 12 of the General Statutes (G.S.) 20-285 through General Statutes (G.S.) 20-309 of the North Carolina Department of Motor Vehicles License and Theft Bureau Motor Vehicle Dealer and Manufacturer Regulation Manual.
  2. ...have a better understanding of new regulations and pending regulations that effect North Carolina Motor Vehicle Dealers and Manufacturers.
