Hardware Support and Repair Certificate

NOTE: This program is being terminated and isn't accepting new students. Faculty advisors will work with current students to ensure they complete their certificates by May 2028. Prospective students are encouraged to explore Wake Tech's Network & Cloud Administration program for other educational options.

The Hardware Support and Repair Certificate is designed for individuals interested in acquiring advanced technical skills and knowledge to maintain and repair personal computers.

Major hands-on topics include documentation, troubleshooting techniques, PC architectures, disk drives and peripheral cards, memory management and communications devices.

Students gain skills in buying parts, upgrading, building and configuring personal computers.

The certificate is designed to prepare the student for A+ certification. A program prerequisite of CTI-120 is required.
