"We Are Wake Tech" is the official podcast for Wake Technical Community College. It is hosted by President Dr. Scott Ralls and produced by Wake Tech's Communications and Marketing team. Each episode features informative and meaningful conversations about academic and workforce training programs, industry and community partnerships and new trends and initiatives affecting higher education, economic development and our quality of life.
Each episode also includes a Wake Tech Pro Tips segment featuring Wake Tech subject-matter experts and a Wake Tech News Update highlighting recent and upcoming news and events.
Dr. Scott Ralls became Wake Tech's fourth president in April 2019. His extensive experience includes serving as president of Northern Virginia Community College, president of the North Carolina Community College System and president of Craven Community College in New Bern, N.C. He has worked for the North Carolina Department of Commerce, the U.S. Department of Commerce and the U.S. Department of Labor. Ralls is the recipient of numerous awards, including the Order of the Long Leaf Pine, North Carolina's highest civilian honor.
