Donor of the Month
The Donor of Month program highlights contributors to Wake Tech as a way to express gratitude for donors like you.
August 2026: This month, we're proud to celebrate Dr. Nilima Bhirud and Dr. Ravi Bhirud for their generosity and commitment to expanding educational opportunities for Wake Tech students. As first-time donors, they established the Dr. Nilima Bhirud and Dr. Ravi Bhirud Scholarship Endowment.
Growing up in India, the Bhiruds experienced firsthand the life-changing impact of educational opportunity. Without the financial means of their own, they relied on scholarships to pursue their dreams of medical school. That experience inspired a deep appreciation for the power of education to transform lives and create pathways to success.
Through their scholarship endowment, the Bhiruds hope to remove financial barriers for students pursuing their educational goals. Their generosity will help students access opportunities, achieve their aspirations and build brighter futures. They also hope recipients will one day pay that generosity forward, extending its impact for generations to come.
Thank you, Drs. Bhirud, for investing in Wake Tech students and helping create opportunities that will change lives for years to come.
