College Closed Tuesday Because of Icy Conditions

Residential Interior Design Certificate

Wake Tech Course ID: C30220A

NOTE: This program is being terminated and is not accepting new students. Advisors will work with current students to finish their certificates by August 2027.

The Residential Interior Design Certificate introduces students to residential design and the steps required in the design process, from programming and design development to schematic design and construction documentation.

Course work focuses on efficient planning of spaces, as well as designing to required codes and standards.

Chief Architect, a 3D modeling software, is introduced and incorporated into required projects in all courses.
