All Wake Tech campuses will remain closed Tuesday, January 27, 2026. Students taking in-person classes should check with their instructors for more information. Online classes will continue as scheduled. Many Wake Tech services, including Admissions and Academic Advising, are available virtually at virtualsupport.waketech.edu. Wake Tech employees who can work remotely should do so.
The Agricultural Systems Technology degree program is designed to provide individuals with the knowledge and skills needed to repair agricultural equipment.
The course work includes diesel engines, power trains, hydraulics, electrical systems and fuel systems. Other topics include time management, inventory and parts control.
Graduates of the program should qualify for entry-level employment opportunities in a dealership as technicians qualified to be contributing members of the work team.
