Payroll Accounting Certificate

Wake Tech Course ID: C25800C

The Payroll Accounting Certificate focuses on the essential knowledge needed to process payroll, calculate taxes and manage employee compensation accurately and professionally.

Required courses are ACC-120, CIS-110, ACC-140, ACC-149 and ACC-150.

In this certificate program, you learn how to do the following:

  • Process payroll using industry-standard software
  • Calculate tax withholdings, benefits and deductions
  • Maintain accurate payroll records and ensure compliance with federal and state regulations
