The Tutoring and Learning Center (TLC) can help students enrolled in a Communication course at Wake Tech create and deliver effective oral presentations, as well as provide academic support in the communication discipline. Students have boosted their grades and their confidence by using the center's services.

Tutoring is available in person and online. In-person sessions are offered at the following locations:

• Southern Wake Campus
  Building D, Room 204
• Scott Northern Wake Campus
  Building E, Room 230A

No appointments are required, but hours vary, so check for faculty availability.

Online tutoring is available through Microsoft Teams. Appointments are required. Use your Wake Tech email address to schedule a session.

Students can also upload a speech or assignment on the center's Blackboard site and get suggestions for improvement. Look for Communication TLC in your list of Blackboard courses, then click on the link. You can also submit questions by video.

The center also offers workshops at various times throughout the academic year to help students, faculty and staff build communication skills.
