Since Wake Tech’s Health Sciences programs have special admission and enrollment requirements, attendance at a program-specific Health Sciences Information Session is mandatory for prospective applicants to any of the competitive programs – dental assisting and dental hygiene, nursing, and radiography.
We do not schedule individual appointments with applicants; all applicants must attend the information session, which will cover the programs, the application process, the selection process, and the expectations for students who are accepted. The Health Sciences Information Sessions are held throughout the year, and new dates are added as needed; applicants should check the website frequently.
Sessions are held at the Perry Health Sciences Campus, 2901 Holston Lane, Raleigh. All sessions begin on time, and latecomers will not be admitted. Please do not bring young children.
Space is limited, and you MUST reserve a spot for an Information Session. You can only reserve ONE spot; if you make more than one reservation, only the earliest reservation will be confirmed.

- General Information Sessions
This all-purpose session covers general academic information designed to introduce the prospective student to the Health Science programs at Wake Tech. This program is designed for the student who is unsure of which program they may be interested. Please note that if you decide to pursue Nursing, Radiography, Dental Hygiene, or Dental Assisting, you will have to attend their program-specific information session
- Dental Hygiene and Dental Assisting
This session is designed for our students who are specifically interested in applying to our Dental Hygiene and/or Dental Assisting programs
This session is designed for our students who are specifically interested in applying to either our traditional Nursing program or our Advanced Placement LPN option.
This session is designed for our students who are specifically interested in applying to our Radiography program.
