Health Sciences Information Sessions
Since Wake Tech’s Health Sciences programs have special admission and enrollment requirements, completion of a program-specific Health Sciences Information Session is mandatory for prospective applicants to any of the competitive programs – Dental Assisting, Dental Hygiene, Medical Sonography, Nursing, Practical Nursing and Radiography.
Individual appointments with applicants are not scheduled until after the information session requirement has been met. Information sessions will cover the program application process, the selection process, classes required and the expectations for students who are accepted. Information sessions are virtual and can be completed at any time.
Choose the session that best fits your needs:
- General information sessions
This all-purpose session covers general academic information designed to introduce the prospective student to the Health Sciences programs at Wake Tech. This program is designed for the student who is unsure of which program in which they may be interested.
If you decide to pursue Nursing, Radiography, Dental Hygiene or Dental Assisting, you will also have to attend a program-specific information session:
- Dental Hygiene and Dental Assisting
- Medical Sonography
If you are interested in taking classes at Wake Tech to transfer to a four-year university for a BSN, you do not need this session and would speak with a University Transfer advisor at [email protected]
