U.S. Army ROTC Cadets from Wake Technical Community College, NC State University and Louisburg College got first-hand experience in a military training exercise today. Two UH-60 Blackhawk Helicopters from the 82nd Combat Aviation Brigade from Ft. Bragg transported 150 Cadets on four separate lifts from Dorothea Dix Hospital in Raleigh to the Wake Tech Main Campus.

Three years after Wake Technical Community College declared all its campuses tobacco-free, the college is enacting a new enforcement policy to increase compliance. Beginning March 1, any student smoking or using tobacco on Wake Tech grounds will receive a written reprimand.
