Students at North Carolina's largest community college will be able to use their student ID badges to vote in primary and general elections this year.

Wake Tech is pleased to announce the Scott Scholars for the 2023-24 academic year, Jennifer Aguilera and Andrew Usman Malik.

Wake Tech began the spring semester on January 8 with record enrollment. The college welcomed more than 23,000 degree-seeking students for the first day of classes – up 11% from a year ago. More than 3,500 of those students are new to Wake Tech.

Wake Tech President Dr. Scott Ralls is proud to announce more than 2,000 students made the honor roll for the Fall 2023 semester, up nearly 140 students from the same semester last year.

Saturday was a day of pomp and circumstance, as hundreds of proud Wake Tech graduates celebrated their accomplishments with family and friends at the Fall Commencement exercises.

Fifteen new and revised articulation agreements between Wake Tech Community College and William Peace University makes it even easier for students to finish their bachelor's degree, officials said.

Female students at Wake Tech now have access to everyday essentials, thanks to a new partnership with No Woman, No Girl, a local nonprofit that provides supplies to women in need.
