The Public Safety Education Campus includes a CALEA®-accredited training academy. It has a state-of-the-art forensics lab, an incident command center, simulation and defensive tactics rooms and a mock courtroom and jail.
The campus offers Associate in Applied Science degrees in Criminal Justice Technology and Public Safety Administration. It also offers Basic Law Enforcement Training and in-service training for the following:
The campus also offers short-term, non-degree courses for workforce licensure and certifications, including a Barbering program with a barbershop open to the public.
From downtown Raleigh, follow Dawson Street and South Saunders Street south past Interstate 40. After about 2 miles, turn left onto Chapanoke Road (Dunkin and Bojangles are on corners), and the campus is on right.
From Interstate 40, take Exit 298-A onto South Saunders Street and follow the above directions.
