Wake Tech is closed December 24 through January 4 for winter break and will reopen January 5. Prospective students can still apply for enrollment online during the break, and continuing students can register for Spring semester classes, which start January 7.
The Custom Training Program provides education, training and support services for new, expanding and existing businesses and industries that are creating jobs in North Carolina. The growth potential of companies is enhanced while simultaneously preparing a workforce with the skills essential for successful employment in emerging industries.
To access Custom Training Program incentives, your business must meet the following guidelines:
Be in one of these industries
Manufacturing
Information technology
Life sciences
Regional or national warehousing/distribution center
Customer support center
Air courier services
National headquarters
Demonstrate two or more of these criteria
Making an appreciable capital investment
Deploying new technology
Creating jobs, expanding an existing workforce or enhancing the productivity and profitability of the operations in the state
