Intended Audience
Individuals who want to expand their knowledge and skills for employment-readiness or those who want to successfully prepare for the relevant industry certification exam(s).
Description
This bundled two-part course combination aims to prepare students who have foundational knowledge of Linux with Linux administration skills. Course topics will focus on essential command line concepts, enterprise-level tools, storage configuration, security management, task control, and Red Hat Enterprise Linux installation and deployment. By the end of the program, students should be prepared to take and pass the Red Hat Certified System Administrator certification exam.
Course Objectives
  1. Red Hat System Administration I (RH124):
    • Define key command line concepts and enterprise-level tools
    • Develop the skills needed for basic administration
    • Configure Red Hat Enterprise Linux
    • Resolve configuration issues and understand how to integrate Red Hat Enterprise Linux systems with other existing environments
  2. Red Hat System Administration II (RH134):
    • Manage security features
    • Install and deployment of Red Hat Linux
    • Manage the boot process
    • Identify strategies for effective troubleshooting
    • Use command-line automation and productivity
