Financial assistance

Student support

  • Course catalog – Browse available non-degree courses and register for those that interest you.
     
  • Registration & Records – Get details on registering for non-degree courses, activating a Key Account, requesting refunds, ordering transcripts and updating contact information.
     
  • Academic supportLibraries on each campus provide research assistance and places to study individually or in groups. The Tutoring and Learning Center offers free tutoring in writing, math, science, computer skills and study skills.
     
  • Technology assistance – Request a laptop computer to attend classes virtually, complete assignments and access college services online. A Wake Tech email address is needed to complete the form. Library Services also has laptops available to loan out to enrolled students.
    On Southern Wake and Scott Northern Wake campuses, students can use their Wake Tech IDs to check out laptops through self-service kiosks located in the libraries. Each kiosk has 12 laptops that can be checked out for up to five hours for on-campus use only. Libraries on all other campuses have laptops that students can check out for up to 24 hours.
    All students must complete a Library Device Loan Request form each semester.
     
  • Career Services – Explore potential careers and get help with job search strategies, crafting resumes that get noticed and interviewing for open positions.
     
  • Care Center – Food pantries on several campuses help students and their families combat food insecurity. Students dealing with anxiety, depression or other mental health challenges can turn to the We Care Student Assistance Program for help.
