Intended Audience
Individuals seeking to become a sworn law enforcement officer in North Carolina.
Description
This certification-related course is designed to equip students with the basic skills, knowledge and ability to function as inexperienced law enforcement officers in the state of North Carolina. The course is a pre-requisite for law enforcement officer certification in this state. The minimum hours required per block of instruction in this course are set by the NC Criminal Justice Education and Training Standards Commission. Course standards are available by contacting the NC Department of Justice for course standards.
