Wake Tech is closed December 24 through January 4 for winter break and will reopen January 5. Prospective students can still apply for enrollment online during the break, and continuing students can register for Spring semester classes, which start January 7.
NOTE: This program is being terminated and isn't accepting new students. Faculty advisors will work with current students to ensure they complete their certificates by May 2027.
The Web Developer Certificate prepares students to develop websites using industry-standard scripting and programming.
Course work provides students with skills in HTML, CSS, PHP, JavaScript, ASP.Net and CMS.
The certificate can be completed 100% online. Some beginning courses are also offered in a seated format at Southern Wake Campus and Scott Northern Wake Campus.
NOTE: Tuition listed is for in-state students. Out-of-state tuition is higher.
Tuition is set annually by the State Board of Community Colleges. Wake Tech charges various fees in addition to tuition, and individual programs also have specific costs associated with them.
