Wake Tech is closed December 24 through January 4 for winter break and will reopen January 5. Prospective students can still apply for enrollment online during the break, and continuing students can register for Spring semester classes, which start January 7.
The Geomatics Technology Diploma includes the minimum coursework required to successfully pass the Professional Land Surveyor exam, in addition to the prerequisites for those courses.
Students coming from a four-year university should already have completed the math and English courses.
To be a registered land surveyor, a four-year degree plus 30 hours of survey-related coursework is required if students do not complete the Geomatics Technology AAS degree.
