Wake Tech's Spring graduation ceremonies are set for 8 a.m., 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. Saturday on Scott Northern Wake Campus. Family and friends unable to attend in person can watch the ceremonies live online.
The Adult High School and High School Equivalency programs will hold their graduation ceremony at 5:30 p.m. Saturday on Scott Northern Wake Campus. Family and friends can watch it live online as well.
The Global Logistics Technology Core Certificate is designed to give students a broad foundation in global logistics. Emphasis is placed on the following:
— Import/export management
— Purchasing
— Impact on materials management, supply chain, transportation and global logistics processes
Students also gain an understanding of all activities involved in the flow of products and information between the suppliers, producers, customers and service providers. Upon completion, students will understand the basics of global logistics.
Overall, the Supply Chain Management program teach students about the international and domestic movement of goods, from the raw materials sources through production and, ultimately, to the consumer.
The program serves both entry-level students and those employed in the field who may need to upgrade their skills or acquire new ones.
