The Pharmacy Technology Bridge AAS Degree is an accelerated program for pharmacy technicians who have at least one year of working experience in the industry in the last 10 years.
The bridge program is for technicians who wish to pursue an academic program comprised of general education courses as well as pharmacy technician basics. Students can then use the degree as the foundation for further education.
The program strives to balance technical training and classroom instruction to gain the knowledge and skills necessary to meet the needs and goals established by the pharmacy profession.
Its mix of in-person and online instruction provides the flexibility for technicians to work studies around their shift schedule. Students who hold an active pharmacy technician certification may be exempt from up to 12 PHM courses.
