Wake Tech is closed Monday for the Labor Day holiday. Prospective students can still apply online, and current students can register for mini-mester courses. All classes will resume and offices will reopen Tuesday morning.
The Medical Billing and Coding Associate in Applied Science Degree provides students with skills in medical coding and auditing, as well as insurance and billing.

The degree is available online, and graduates should qualify for employment opportunities in the following locations:
Medical offices
Health care facilities, including hospitals, nursing homes and rehabilitation centers
Insurance billing offices
Laboratories
Students are eligible to take industry-recognized certification exams.
NOTE: Tuition listed is for in-state students. Out-of-state tuition is higher.
Tuition is set annually by the State Board of Community Colleges. Wake Tech charges various fees in addition to tuition, and individual programs also have specific costs associated with them.
