The Accounting Core Certificate prepares students in the core of accounting and business concepts and includes all university transferable courses.
Credits earned may be transferred toward an Accounting AAS Degree, provided the student meets the entrance requirements for that program. They also may be transferred to either the Associate in Arts or Associate in Science degrees for University Transfer.
Individuals who complete the certificate should qualify for entry-level accounting positions in accounting firms, small businesses, manufacturing firms, banks, hospitals, school systems and governmental agencies.
