The Interior Design AAS Degree prepares students for a variety of jobs in both residential and non-residential interior design.
Studies focus on technical knowledge, professional practices and aesthetic principles. Course work covers the following topics:

Graphic presentation
Construction document preparation
Materials and methods
Environmental and structural systems
Building codes and specifications
Computer-aided design
History of interiors and furnishings
Color theory
Products
Business practices
Graduates have career opportunities in residential or commercial interior design, architecture, set design, showroom design, furniture/textiles/accessories sales and any business dealing with interiors.
NOTE: Tuition listed is for in-state students. Out-of-state tuition is higher.
Tuition is set annually by the State Board of Community Colleges. Wake Tech charges various fees in addition to tuition, and individual programs also have specific costs associated with them.
