Wake Tech resumes normal operations on Wednesday, February 4, 2026. Campuses reopen at 8 a.m., and most classes are held as scheduled.
Building H on Scott Northern Wake Campus is without power and will remain closed until power is restored. Students with classes in Building H should check with their instructors for more information.

The Geomatics Technology Diploma includes the minimum coursework required to successfully pass the Professional Land Surveyor exam, in addition to the prerequisites for those courses.
The Geomatics Field Tech Certificate allows students to explore various equipment, software and technologies associated with data collection and processing in the surveying industry.
The Geomatics Tech I Certificate allows students to explore various aspects of surveying at the fundamental level.
The UAS Drone Tech Certificate teaches students how to use online applications to create GIS databases and perform detailed mapping analysis of spatial datasets. Students also learn the theory, implementation and operations of GNSS.
