Visit the Ombuds Office on Southern Wake Campus (Building N, Room 131) or Scott Northern Wake Campus (Building F, Room 301) to chat or simply learn more about services. While scheduling an appointment is helpful, drop-in visitors are welcome and will be seen as quickly as possible.
In-person visits are most productive, but phone consultations are also available by calling 919-866-5479.

Jerry Nuesell, Ph.D., is a psychologist and educator with more than three decades of experience. He served as a senior clinician and administrator at New York City's largest private outpatient facility, treating adults with chronic mental illness. At William Peace University, he was dean of Student and Academic Services, providing leadership in academic advising, campus life, learning services, disability services and other areas.
Over the course of his career, he has taught psychology and First Year Experience courses, coached cross country and worked with student government and other campus organizations. He came to Wake Tech in 2015.
Dr. Nuesell is a trained mediator who has helped individuals and groups work through complex issues in a variety of settings. He holds a B.A. from New York University, an M.S.Ed from Fordham University and a Ph.D. from the City University of New York.
A New York City native, Dr. Nuesell has completed 12 marathons and holds a third-degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do.
