Description
This course focuses on the essential elements for securing a job in today’s rapidly changing economic marketplace. Participants will identify their natural strengths and how they relate to career success, identify their personal brand, develop an elevator speech, and learn how to ask and answer interview questions to get the job.
Course Objectives
  1. have learned about their natural strengths and how they relate to career success
  2. have written Strength Statement Cards which align with job descriptions for career fit
  3. have identified their Myers Briggs and Holland Code profiles and understood how their profiles relate to success on the job
  4. have developed a personal brand and elevator speech
  5. have learned about different interview methods and how to answer interview questions
  6. have prepared and practiced answers to several interview questions
