Wake Tech is closed Monday for the Labor Day holiday. Prospective students can still apply online, and current students can register for mini-mester courses. All classes will resume and offices will reopen Tuesday morning.
NOTE: This program is being terminated and is not accepting new students. Advisors will work with current students to finish their certificates by August 2027.
The Pipe and Plate Certificate program includes coursework demonstrating techniques in pipe and plate welding.
The certificate is a stackable credential for student to obtain the Welding Technology Diploma or AAS Degree.
NOTE: Tuition listed is for in-state students. Out-of-state tuition is higher.
Tuition is set annually by the State Board of Community Colleges. Wake Tech charges various fees in addition to tuition, and individual programs also have specific costs associated with them.
