Wake Tech is closed December 24 through January 4 for winter break and will reopen January 5. Prospective students can still apply for enrollment online during the break, and continuing students can register for Spring semester classes, which start January 7.
The Basic Facilities Technology II Certificate is designed for individuals seeking more knowledge of electrical wiring, print reading and workplace safety.
Overall, the Facility Maintenance Technology curriculum prepares individuals to repair and maintain electrical and mechanical systems, as well as physical structures of commercial and industrial institutions. Emphasis is on multi-discipline systems maintenance, troubleshooting and problem resolution.
NOTE: Tuition listed is for in-state students. Out-of-state tuition is higher.
Tuition is set annually by the State Board of Community Colleges. Wake Tech charges various fees in addition to tuition, and individual programs also have specific costs associated with them.
