Wake Tech is closed December 24 through January 4 for winter break and will reopen January 5. Prospective students can still apply for enrollment online during the break, and continuing students can register for Spring semester classes, which start January 7.
The HVACR Certificate is designed for individuals wishing to advance their knowledge of air conditioning-refrigeration-heating operation and maintenance.
Course work includes electricity, heating and cooling technology, maintenance and print reading.
Graduates should qualify for entry-level positions in residential or light-commercial facility maintenance.
