Water Leak on Southern Wake Campus

Emergency repairs to a leaking underground water pipe will begin Tuesday evening, September 22, 2026. Tuesday classes will continue as scheduled, but repairs may require Southern Wake Campus to close on Wednesday, September 23, 2026.

Wake Tech will send an update through WARN by 11 p.m. Tuesday and, if needed, another by 6 a.m. Wednesday.

Marketing Analytics Certificate

Wake Tech Course ID: C25350C

The Marketing Analytics Certificate prepares students for job opportunities in the marketing analytics field. Students can learn business analytics practices and how they apply in the marketing industry.

The certificate program includes BUS-110, BAS-120, BAS-121 and MKT-120 courses from the Business Administration program. Credits earned may be transferred toward an AAS degree in Business Analytics.

Overall, the Business Analytics curriculum is designed to provide students with the knowledge and the skills necessary for the following:

  • Statistical and analytic theory, best practices and analysis
  • Data mining and data warehousing
  • Predictive modeling
  • Project and operations management
  • Analytical tools and techniques

Related skills include business communication, critical thinking and decision making. The curriculum is hands-on, with an emphasis on application of theoretical and practical concepts. Students will engage with the latest tools and technology.
