In the Business Analytics AAS degree program, students complete coursework in business analytics that includes general theory, best practices, data mining, data warehousing, predictive modeling, project and operations management, statistical analysis and software packages. Students also build related skills in business communication, critical thinking and decision making. Students following a traditional, full-time academic schedule can expect to complete the degree program in two years.
The Business Analyst Certificate includes the last five Business Analytics courses, BAS-221, BAS-230, BAS-240, BAS-250 and BAS-270, for a total of 15 credits.
The Business Intelligence certificate must be completed before beginning courses in the Business Analyst certificate.
The Business Intelligence Certificate includes the first four Business Analytics courses, BAS-120, BAS-121, BAS-220 and BAS-150, for a total of 12 credits.
Upon completion, students may sit for the SAS Base Programming Specialist certification exam.
The Finance Analytics Certificate includes BAS 120, ACC 120, BAS 121, and BUS 225.
