The Automotive Brakes and Suspension Certificate prepares students for entry-level employment in the area of automotive brakes, suspension and steering.
The courses cover principles of operation, types and diagnosis/repair of brakes, suspension and steering systems. Topics include steering systems, suspension systems, wheel alignment, tire service, brake systems, ABS and other related subjects.
Upon completion, students should be able to service and repair various steering and suspension components, check and adjust alignment angles and service and repair various brake systems.
