A donor-advised fund (DAF) is often described as a charitable giving account. You make a contribution to a DAF through a sponsoring organization, such as a community foundation or financial services provider, receive an immediate tax deduction and recommend grants to your favorite charities. It's a flexible and convenient way to support the causes you care about.
Step 1: Open
Establish a donor-advised fund through a sponsoring organization.
