Day 1: Introduction, pre-test, background on sample preparation, principles of chromatographic separation, basics of HPLC, IET HPLC video, importance of lab controls, FDA criteria for bio-analytical methods, assay of Walgreens Extra Strength Pain Reliever by HPLC: Method 005 (lab overview), instructor demonstration of Method 005, chromatogram interpretation
Day 2: Lab equipment demonstration videos, overview of Waters Empower 3 software, student hands-on solution preparation, student performance of Method 005, reporting results (lab), final Q&A, course wrap-up, course assessment and survey
